I had the huge pleasure of speaking to legendary Italian actor Franco Nero and talking his career, nostalgia for spaghetti westerns, his friendships with Laurence Olivier and John Huston, and much more. You can read the exclusive interview online at Little White Lies.
For the i Paper this week, I reviewed unusual Holocaust drama Persian Lessons. You can check out my thoughts on the movie here.
For the new issue of Empire Magazine, on newsstands now or for order online here, I spoke with Greek filmmaker Christos Nikou on his upcoming film Apples, an eerie and darkly funny story about a global pandemic of amnesia. The film is great, and it's set for release early this year in the UK by Curzon Artificial Eye.
I also spoke to filmmaker Julius Avery in a preview piece for Sly Stallone's new dark superhero movie, Samaritan.
I gave four stars to the moving, excellent One Night in Miami, Regina King's directorial debut. Read what I thought in today's i Paper or on their website.
